SIFA - Cryptographic Device Example |
This is a model of a cryptographic device, where the design hasn't been carefully engineered for security (deliberately), but contains some fault-tolerant architecture. This is provided by PIC redundancy and some comparison circuitry. The existence of a bypass channel ("red text 1" above) makes this device somewhat interesting from a security perspective.
The VHDL (which was slightly buggy in places) has been imported into SIFA, and an abstract model created to analyse the connectivity without the presence of faults.
